I can honestly say that what happened is one of the most common things that happens to parents. I know SO many people who have had that happen - one of my friend's had her 4 year old son put the van in reverse all the way down their driveway right into the mailbox (thank GOD) where it stopped. You are not a bad mother for that to happen. I don't think any of us are that vigilant all of the time. Right now Mac could be doing something awful and I wouldn't even know it - it happens! Come to think of it, where is Mac? Grr....
